ELLIS Unit Copenhagen

The ELLIS Unit Copenhagen is founded by researchers from University of Copenhagen (KU), the Technical University of Denmark (DTU), the IT University of Copenhagen (ITU), with the purpose of contributing to fulfilling the European Laboratory for Learning and Intelligent Systems (ELLIS) mission of:

Strengthening basic AI research in Europe and thereby contributing to creating job and economic growth in Europe.

The unit takes part in ELLIS activities - workshops, PhD and postdocs programs, research programs and innovation, encourage collaboration and organise activities for MSc and PhD students, postdocs, researchers and industry in the region with the Pioneer Centre for Artificial Intelligence (P1) serving as a hub for our activities.

To give more researchers the opportunity to take part in and contribute to ELLIS activities, we invite academic and industry researchers in Denmark and surrounding regions to become members of the Copenhagen Unit. We are proud to now include Aalborg University (AAU), Aarhus University (AU) and the University of Southern Denmark (SDU) as part of the unit.
